A Parent’s Guide to Using Arbor

At our school, we believe that strong communication between home and school is incredibly important. Arbor helps us work closely together to support your child’s learning, wellbeing and school experience. The Arbor Parent Portal and App provide a simple and convenient way for parents and carers to stay informed, receive important updates and manage key areas of school life all in one place.

Using Arbor regularly will help you stay connected with your child’s progress, school events, attendance, messages from staff and much more. We strongly encourage all families to download the Arbor App or access the Parent Portal online.

Getting Started

If you are unsure whether you have access to Arbor, please contact the school office who will be happy to help.

If you are logging in for the first time, you will receive instructions from school explaining how to set up your account. Once logged in, you will be able to access a wide range of useful information about your child quickly and securely.

If you experience any difficulties logging in, please contact the school office for support.

Families with More Than One Child

If you have more than one child at the school, Arbor allows you to access all children through the same account. You can easily switch between your children’s profiles to view their individual information.

The first time you switch profiles, you may be asked to confirm your child’s date of birth for security purposes.

Clubs, Trips and Payments

Arbor also makes managing school activities much easier for families. Through the app or portal you can:

• Sign your child up for trips
• Book breakfast or after-school clubs
• View and pay balances
• Purchase items through the school shop

Having everything in one place helps make communication and organisation much more convenient for busy families.

Parents’ Evening Bookings

The Guardian Consultations section allows you to book Parents’ Evening appointments online at convenient times. This makes arranging meetings with teachers quick and simple.

Messaging and Communication

Arbor allows parents and carers to receive important messages directly from the school. This helps us communicate quickly and efficiently regarding events, reminders, updates and important information about your child.

Regularly checking your Arbor messages is one of the best ways to stay connected with school life and support your child throughout the year.

Your Arbor Dashboard

The dashboard is the first page you will see when you log in and gives you an excellent overview of your child’s school day and progress. From here you can easily view:

• Daily timetable information
• Attendance statistics
• Homework and assignments
• School notices and announcements
• Meal balances and accounts
• Trips and clubs
• School shop purchases
• Messages from school staff

This makes Arbor a fantastic tool for keeping up to date with everything happening in school and ensuring you never miss important information.

You can return to the dashboard at any time by clicking on the school logo or selecting “Dashboard” from the menu.
